POTRERILLOS, Mendoza
The program is delivered seasonally by L4S at the AMW (Asociacion Mendocina de Windsurf) located in Potrerillos. The AMW has become a key component across our LINKED Sailing Centers, helping and cooperating with the development of the sport of sailing in Mendoza, Argentina.
The Potrerillos dam is located on the Mendoza River, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. The dam was inaugurated and it began to fill up in 2001, and the hydroelectric plant was inaugurated in 2003.
It is located at a height of 1.380 meters above sea level, extending over an area of 900 hectares. The reservoir is 10 km long and is located about 25 miles southwest of the city of Mendoza.

DISCOVER SAILING session (FREE: Membership NOT required)
For every sailor who walks through our door, start here! This class will get you familiar with how everything works at L4S. This orientation class is the gateway to everything that L4S has to offer, whether you’re a seasoned sailor or brand new to boats. From the Club facilities up to set sails on a Tandem 2.4 with your instructor, your orientation will include a full guided tour to your Sailing Center, the 2.4 boats, an overview of our program classes, as well as plenty of time to ask the questions that matter to you as a sailor. All orientations meet at the front desk of the Club and run for about 2 hours. All are welcome to this class!
